ContinuousVase( grasshopper/firefly + arduino)

一樣使用rhino外掛Grasshopper裡面的Firefly
與Arduino溝通

We use Grasshopper/ Firefly to build this digital Vase
by communicating with arduino.

透過光感Sensor將數字讀取後
在Grasshopper終將數字轉換為不同平面上圓的半徑
再將其Loft起來
所以透過周圍感光的不同
或是手的運動
可改變花瓶的形狀

Through the number coming from the sensor,
we simply transfer these numbers to
radius of the circle on differnet plan.
After that, we Loft these circles
to get the "Vase" Form.
The Vase Form is changing
every seconds because of the light.
The form could be changed
by the environment light or the gestures

左邊的部分依舊是關於port的選擇
可透過Arduino知道現在的port的號碼

右邊的則是接收的部分
 AP01-07都是接收的Pin
接上Panel
我們可以看到變化
Start的toggle是true時即開始作用
而Timer的toggle為true時
則會持續的讀數字近來

On the left side is the setting for the "port"
and we could get the port number from arduino.

On the right side is the reciever.
AP01-07 are the analogue-IN Pin
for reading the data from the sensors,
so we could see the number inside the panel changing.

The toggle for the "Start" is to turn it on
and the toggle for the "Timer" is to read the data in real time.
