超身體: 簇群工作營

工作基本上使用由  Jose Sanchez所建構
可在Processing使用的Plethora library
製作如魚群鳥群的簇群關係
Plethora基本上內部已經設定好基本該有的簇群
僅需要在Processing中做簡單的設定

The worhop is Based on the "Plethora" Library for processing
built by Jose Sanchez, one of the member of biothing.
Plethora is a  agent based library in processing, 

which already set up the basic structure and function for swarm behavior.

在本篇中
主要使用Library內的兩個功能

"closestNormalandDirectio'nToSpline" 和
"closestNormalToSpline"

然後再使用"seek"功能對Particle進行
Attraction(吸子效果)

In this example, the main functions that we use are 

"closestNormalandDirectionToSpline" and
"closestNormalToSpline"

inside of the "Plethora" library.
We also use "seek" function to attract the particles to line.


在第一個例子中 將Particle的初始位置設置於邊界的兩端
並僅有一線為吸子


The Swarm first started from two sides of the boundary, 

and attract by one single line. 

交錯的線段形成有如表面的效果是來自於
簇群的軌跡

This merging waves make a

 beautiful surface-like form based 

on the swarm trail.

測試兩條線的效果

Testing for using 2 splines

使用兩個圓圈並給與不同強度的吸引力試看將會有何結果

Use two circles with different factors to 

see how the result would be

最後建構四個不同強度的圓圈產生出美麗的表面造型

We build up 4 circles with different attraction factors,

to make this nice surface form.
