HyperBody_SwarmmyWorkshop_result(Processing)




Swarmmy workshop is one of the workshop in HyperBody, TU Delft. 
The studio is directed by Nimish Biloria and Henriette Bier.

工作營是在荷蘭的台夫特大學中的
超身體實驗室舉行



The workshop mainly uses Processing as the digital tool 
基本上是以"Processing"為數位工具的工作營

to explore the possibility of using swarm behaviors in architectural design. 
These are the experimental processes during the workshop. 
Basically using the 
Plethora(built by Jose Sanchez), Toxiclibs, Hemesh 
and other open source libraries to build up the system.   


透過對簇群的研究運用Processing及其Libraries 像是
Plethora(built by Jose Sanchez), ToxiclibsHemesh 
等進行數位設計之探索




We started from basic to advanced of using Processing.
我們從基礎到進階的Processing教學

The workshop mainly based on the Plethora library built by Jose Sanchez.
These are some experimental results playing with agent based swarm behaviors.
All kinds of function with libraries
工作營最常使用的即是由 Jose Sanchez 所建立的 Plethora library
很快地即可生成簇群系統及各種關於簇群的功能

Swarm:  

The swarm attracted can bring us lots of nice graphic as well
簇群對於線的引力所產生的圖形是超乎意料的漂亮


build up the Voronoi by Hemesh with ControlP5 Slider
我們也使用Hemesh建構一些VORONOI
並可用Slider調整

We make the center points of the voronoi 
as the attractors for the Swarm.
The mesh was coming out based on the path of the Swarm particles.
Trying to find a bottom up way of design.VORONOI中心點作為簇群的吸引點
Mesh的生成即是透過簇群的湧現所生成的
試著去尋找這種由下而上的設計方法



We also setup the Swarmy-Chairs based on the 
Swarm behaviors with attraction lines
