Touch_HyperCell (TouchOsc + Grasshopper + gHowl )


Try to use the TouchOsc  APP to control the grasshopper file.
You can download it with your smartphone.
(I am using HTC, so the android market)
it's FREE
There are lots of interfaces for panel control for smart-phone and smart-pad.
You don'e need but you can as well to design the interface yourself.
Just test the easiest one to connect to the HyperCell project before 
to make the control of it with smartphone

嘗試使用TouchOsc這個智慧型手機的應用程式是控制grasshopper.
你可以用你的智慧型手機去下載(以我為例 我是使用HTC 所以到Android Market去搜尋)
此應用程式已有許多介面所以你不需要再多做設計
簡單結合先前的HyperCell
使用智慧型手機作為控制的介面

Using the gHowl, you can transmit the data from your phone to 
the grasshopper file through OSC.
We can just use the example file inside of the gHowl example folder that you donwload
Open the "gHowl_OSC_dispatch.gh" file, 
then take a look at the components.

使用gHowl將手機裡面的資訊透過OSC傳輸到grasshopper
我們就使用gHowl裡面的example file來說明
然後找到裡面的
gHowl_OSC_dispatch.gh
來看看


First thing you have to make sure is that your phone and your computer are in the same WiFi.
then you see the left side, there is a Network Source. 
You should set up your Host 
as same as the number in Network Source on your phone.
The default of the Send Pattern(Osc) is 999.
In my case, in my phone, the default setup of it is 9000
so I change it to 9000

首先你要確認你的手機跟電腦是使用同一個Wifi網路
再來看到左側的Network Source.
他設定的數字要跟你在手機裡面設定的Host一樣
再來看到 Send Pattern(Osc)的部分
Default的設定是999
但在我的例子我手機中的數字是9000
所以我將他改成9000


after you setting up all the stuff, just press done and go inside the interface
完成設定之後 就按DONE然後進入到介面



They have several interfaces, but I just use the simple one
他設計有不同的介面 但我們使用最簡單的
When you are moving the slider you should see the number is changing
in your grasshopper file on the right,
當你滑動Slider時 就可以看到右邊的數字跟變化


so now you just need to 
take the number out from the list (List-Item) and 
remap the number to what you want to use and start playing with it
現在你就只需要從這List裡面抓取(List-Item)
然後重新計算(Remap)他的數字到你需要的結果
就可以開始使用它了

In my case, I use it for controlling the parameters of my HyperCell
then I can control them with my smartphone,
以我的例子 我將其連結到我的HyperCell
所以我可以使用手機來控制我的參數

The only problem that I am facing is that I need to always start with the gHowl example file 
and copy paste my component to this file, I couldn't save it and make it perfectly work when I reopen it.
but still, it's a fun process.
我遇到唯一的問題是我每次都必須從gHowl的example file開始
然後將我要的東西複製貼上再連結 
因為當我存檔之後
重開檔案就不能使用了
但這還是一個好玩的控制方式
